I’ve worked very hard for my money for the last ten years, which has put me in a better financial position than most people my age. I’ve just bought my first house in an up-and-coming suburb, and I am on track to make a profit on my purchase by 2030. The house is brand new, and I love every part of it, except for the bathroom. The style of the bathroom, whilst functional, is just not what I want and so I’ve decided to treat myself to a new bathroom.
I’m very happy about this, because I’ll get to create a space that I absolutely love and believe will add value to my property when I decide to sell and upgrade. Seeing as I spend at least an hour per day in the bathroom, potentially more on the weekend, creating a bathroom that is right for me will make a massive impact on my day to day living. I have spoken with a number of people in regards to the design position, and I have landed the perfect team of bathroom designers. Across Melbourne, homeowners are very particular about the bathroom features they want, which means the designers have experience in pretty much everything that I want done. Perfect for me.
I’ve delayed moving into my new house until the bathroom is ready. That means I’ll be living with my flatmates for another month, but as soon as the renovation is done I’m out of there. It’s time that I start living the life that I’ve earned. I’ve earned the perfect bathroom. I’ve earned a hefty profit in the future and I’ve earned my own space. I’ll never have to share a bathroom again, or ask anyone if I can use the toilet before they shower. This is the life I want to live.
I’m a prime example of the fact that hard work pays off, and in this case, hard work pays off in the form of a brand new home and bathroom.
