Meet the Fashionistas

Xander

At the tender age of three, I made the solid decision that I wasn’t going to let anyone tell me what to wear. I keep an open mind, but whenever my mother told me to wear something, I had my stock response ready: “I’ll take that under advisement, darling.

All opinions are noted. Most are discarded.

I want to introduce a fashion revolution to this dull and stuffy world, where people are so obsessed with opulence or making a statement. You don’t need statements; the only words that matter are the ones you speak to yourself. Fashion is about you, about that perfect balance between comfort and feeling amazing, no matter what anyone else says.

I’m Xander Jenson, and I invite you to join my revolution.

In my spare time I like to make sassy comments towards the television during Project Runway, and I have a strange fascination with Japanese game shows.

I just really like clothes.

But, like…on a deeper level than most. I used to watch supermodels strutting around on catwalks, so cold and sad and uncomfortable-looking, and something within me just ached. It was like the black-and-white segment of an infomercial: “there’s got to be a better way!”

Me and Xander? We’re finding that way. Or rather, we’re finding our way back to what clothes were always meant to be, something mankind has forgotten: pure pleasure, both in feeling comfortable and looking amazing.

We’re on a mission, and everyone is welcome to come with. I love making new friends!

I also really love baking difficult foreign treats and bopping along to 80s jazzercise videos.
