I’m about to go on a road trip up the coast of Western Australia! My girlfriend and I have been planning this trip for over a year. We’ve been saving for even longer, and we managed to buy a car big enough for us to travel in. Our plan is to drive from Perth to Broome and make every possible stop along the way. We’ve taken three months off work and are almost fully ready to go. The last thing on our agenda before we leave is to make sure our car is in perfect condition. Because let’s be real, it’s going to be hard to go on a road trip without a car.
We’re going to go in for a general service, but we’ve also got a few things on the list that we want to make sure are taken care of. First and foremost, the car’s exhaust. Midland has various service garages around, so we’re expecting to find a place that will focus on and accommodate our needs. Especially because this is what we’re planning to live out of for the next three months.
It’s hard to disagree with the fact that Western Australia is very, very hot in summer – which is why we need a working air conditioner in our car. My girlfriend and I have a very strong, stable relationship – but even the best relationships would be tested in a cramped car during 42 degree heat. I am beyond excited for our holiday. After we get our car sorted I am one day closer to being able to propose to my girlfriend. I’m going to propose somewhere on our trip home. I’m not sure where yet, but the right moment will make itself clear. And I can’t wait.
